This Thermolevel underlay is 5mm thick and contains a Damp-Proof Membrane. These two factors combined with its insulating properties makes it the perfect long lasting, durable foundation for your flooring. It levels out uneven subflooring and can even be installed on top of existing tiled flooring.
This underlay is not suitable for use with underfloor heating or cooling; however, it has excellent insulating properties meaning a reduced loss of heat through the floor.
The damp proof membrane prevents any moisture from rising from the ground into your room.
This underlay also soundproofing properties. It reduces any noise made in a room with heavy foot traffic.
