Their 6mm thickness delivers the strength of 15mm plywood without the added height, making them perfect for projects where height constraints are a concern. With each board measuring 1200mm x 600mm, they are lightweight and easy to maneuver, ensuring smooth handling during installation. Delivered in a pallet of 75 boards, these backer boards are designed to simplify the tiling process and provide reliable performance.
What sets these boards apart is their excellent water resistant properties, which are activated once primed with an SBR primer, making them a strong choice for moisture prone areas. Additionally, the boards boast an A1 fire rating, offering enhanced safety and peace of mind. They are particularly effective for covering challenging surfaces like chipboard floors, where the wax content can interfere with adhesion.
