The BodenWärme Electric Underwood Heating kit has been designed to add a cosy warmth to laminate and engineered floating wooden floors, when fitted in conjunction with the BodenWärme Underlay Insulation for Electric Underfloor Heating this efficient, easy to install system makes wood flooring a delight to walk on. The BodenWärme heating mats are constructed from high-quality materials and come with a lifetime warranty, this works to provide a long-term heating solution for the floor without time-consuming maintenance or reliability issues. Unlike bulky radiators, underwood heating discreetly provides an even distribution of heat to ensure a comfortable warmth without taking up wall space. The ultra-thin wire reduces the need for any extra floor height while the mat format design allows for a quick install which can be adapted to any room in the home.
All BodenWärme heating mats are both robust, reliable and supported with a lifetime warranty giving you peace of mind and confidence in the longevity of your underfloor heating. The lifetime warranty applies to all BodenWärme heating mats, with the thermostats separately supported by their own specific manufacturer backed warranties.
Calculating the right size heating kit for a room is fairly simple but also very important to get right, the BodenWärme Underwood Heating mats can not be cut down to size and any mats that have been cut are unable to be returned. To calculate the right size heating you will need to start with finding out the total area of floor space by multiplying the width by the length, after doing this you need to deduct the space of any fixed furniture with a clearance of less than 50mm above the floor, this is done to stop the chances of hot spots being generated. Once you have your total area minus the furniture without 50mm clearance you will need to deduct a further 10% to allow for the spacing between the mats and the perimeter of the room.
