Find out moreThis BodenWärme Electric Undertile Heating Mat is supplied with the dSTAT Electric Underfloor Heating Thermostat in black. The perfect heating solution for ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone floors. Unlike unsightly radiators, the BodenWärme Electric Undertile Heating mats add a comfortable even warmth throughout a room without any hot or cold spots. The sticky mesh design of the BodenWärme heat mats allow for a much faster installation time compared with cable systems and are particularly suited to regular shaped rooms and large areas, simply roll out the mat, cut the mesh backing and turn back in the opposite direction as needed. The BodenWärme Heating Mats are both durable, reliable and backed with a lifetime warranty while the thermostats are covered by specific manufacturer backed warranties giving peace of mind as well as a comfortable warm floor. The BodenWärme 150w kits are suitable for a well insulated room as a primary heat source, to add more efficiency and further reduce costs the mats should be laid over our Underfloor Heating Insulation Board, this prevents any heat loss through uninsulated floors and will considerably speed up heat times.
Calculating the right size heating kit for a room is fairly simple but also very important to get right, the BodenWärme Undertile Heating mats can not be cut down to size and any mats that have been cut are unable to be returned. To calculate the right size heating you will need to start with finding out the total area of floor space by multiplying the width by the length, after doing this you need to deduct the space of any fixed furniture with a clearance of less than 50mm above the floor, this is done to stop the chances of hot spots being generated. Once you have your total area minus the furniture without 50mm clearance you will need to deduct a further 10% to allow for the spacing between the mats and the perimeter of the room.
