Find out moreAre you tired of chilly bathroom tiles in the morning or cold kitchen floors during winter? If so, look no further than this BodenWärme Electric Underfloor Heating Cable Kit. Designed for ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiled floors, this kit is the ultimate solution to ensure your tile-floored rooms remain inviting and warm underfoot, no matter the season. From bathrooms and en-suites to kitchens and conservatories, this versatile heating system brings you practical and effective warmth.
What sets BodenWärme's underfloor heating system apart from traditional heating methods, such as radiators, is its even distribution of heat, which ensures optimum comfort throughout your entire room. Say goodbye to the hot and cold spots that traditional radiator heating systems often create. With underfloor heating, the temperature profile aligns perfectly with the ideal comfort level, keeping your feet warm while allowing your head to stay cool.
The cable features a dual-core wire design with a simple, single connection point. The thin yet robust 3.6mm wire minimises any increase in floor height, and its tough Fluoropolymer conducting insulation with PVC outer insulation ensures durability that lasts.
But that's not all - this kit also includes a sleek Touch Screen Electric Underfloor Thermostat in White. With a choice of three different sensor settings and a manual override function, you have complete control over your heating preferences. The thermostat is designed to fit in a standard single gang back box (45mm deep) and features a sensitive touchscreen, making it user-friendly. You can even programme different time and temperature settings for weekends and activate a Key Lock function to prevent unintended changes, especially by young children.
To calculate which kit size is right for your project, you will first need to work out the area of the whole floor space by multiplying the length of the floor by the width. Once this is done, you should then subtract any fixed furniture from the area with a clearance of less than 50mm above the floor. This will eradicate the risk of causing hot spots in your room. When you have a total area minus the deductions, you should deduct a further 10% from your total as this will allow for the spacing between cables and around the perimeter of the room.
